Penetrating Ashes

Effect: The magician takes a cigarette and rubs some of the ashes into the spectators clenched fist until they disappear. The spectator then opens their fist to reveal that the ash has penetrated onto their palm.
Supplies: Ashes Instructions: 1. Without anyone noticeing rub some ash on both of your middle finger tips. 2. Ask the spectator to put their hands out palms down. When they do, take their hands and pretend to reposition them. When you do this touch your middle finger to their palms. They now have ash on their palms. 3. Instruct them to make a fist and keep there hands tightly closed. 4. Dip you fingers into the ash again and begin rubbing it on the back of their fist. Tell them you have rubbed it right into their palm. 5. Allow them to open there hands, and watch their amazement as they see the ash on their palms. |
